You are probably familiar with Black Friday and know that it is soon that time a year again, it is not even 2 weeks left until it starts. If you are not familiar with it I can tell you that it is one of the biggest “discount time of year” if not the biggest.
Prices go DOWN and it is a great time of year to take advantage of buying things… Or as I suggest would be a better alternative is to INVEST into something, why not yourself?
Start Make Stop Waste is all about quiting bullshit and stop wasting time, it is pretty much the slogan but we also strongly suggest that you stop buying things you don´t really need …and instead put your hard earned money on something that will bring out a better you.
F**K THOOSE FANCY PANTS! 🙂
So this year I suggest you skip those new fancy pants, new phone or some other unnessesary Product and instead invest in yourself for real.
Why not buy some book and educate yourself instead for example?
A BIG SURPRISE!
Start Make Stop Waste got an AWESOME surprise for all it´s (over 2000) subscribers this Black Friday so if you aren´t already a subscriber I suggest you put your e-mail adress in to take advantage of what is about to be presented to ALL subscribers on the list.
This is something you don´t want to miss!
At least if you want to make a HUGE investment in yourself and your future.
So, go ahead and sign up now! (If you aren´t one of those who will buy some fany pants or shiny new bullshit phone with your money instead of course) 😉

John,
The retailers who promote Black Friday prey on the ideal that people, (some of whom really cannot afford to) buy things that in fact they really do not need. Does it truly improve their quality of life? No! It’s mostly material things – that 50 inch HD television, that $50,000 car they got on sale.
Of course within the past several years there has also been Cyber Monday – deals found online that also represent the very essence of gluttony by human beings.
I like what the website that you recommended “Start Make Stop Waste” offers so much more intrinsic value to a person as it would represent an investment on that person’s own being – not a bunch of junk that in two years will be in an attic unused.
People need to start investing in their own future instead of wasting away their money and talents on frivolous items that have zero meaning!

Hello John
Glad to read your black Friday surprise post,Black Friday is still new here in Europe(in my opinion) and most know nothing about it.
to my understanding, black Friday is about buying some useless materials we don’t need just because it`s been reduced in prize.
As you say, why not invest in one`s self, learning something useful.
You suggested investing in one`s self but you did not say in what, in your opinion, what should one invest in on this black Friday? something useful for the future but what? buy some learning books?
Still, enjoyed your post, thanks for sharing.

Interesting site! Reminding us that impulse buying just to have it, then perhaps throwing it away later for a loss, is not going to do much for us down the road.
As an American I have noticed what a throw away society we have become. But I have also noticed the few, the hungry and the motivated staying at home on Black Fridays saving their money for Real important things.
Also something to think about is those folks have 0 chance of getting trampled on when those store doors open that Friday 🙂

I agree with your thesis about wasting money on things that are really unnecessary. Especially if you don’t have a lot of money to begin with. Invest your money back into your business–that’s a better concept. When you reach my age and you live on a pension, you think before spending. I rather buy food, pay my bills or spend money on something that will bring me a return on my investment ROi.
Thank you,

Can I join the campaign even though I just want to buy things online? Black Friday is not really available in my location but it is available on online commerce sites. I have a tendancy of wasting money on irrelevant things and I want you to help me on this one. Please do get back to me. 🙂
John says
yes you can! This is available for everyone!

I took advantage of Wealthy Affiliate’s Black Friday deal last year and I’m so glad I did. I had got to a point where I was truly ready to commit to making my online business successful, so I went all in and got the reduced yearly deal. I think it’s true what the founder Kyle says, people who commit to a year are more likely to succeed. I think this is because when you are paying monthly, it is like you always have an exit route. Once you commit to a year, you are more likely to give it 100% and do whatever it takes to succeed.
But the saving you get on Black Friday is awesome. A year’s worth of monthly payments at $49 is $588, so by taking the Black Friday deal you save $289, which is freaking awesome!

Hey John, so true what you say, people are starting to go crazy, and getting ready to spend a lot of their cash on Black Friday on stuff that they most likely don’t need.
It’s awesome to rather invest in education that can change your life and build a better future rather than to waste your money. 🙂
