Today we look at a very hot topic, CBD oil. Is CBD oil a scam? What is CBD oil? Does it really work? What companies can you trust? This is some questions this short article will help you answer!
As you might have noticed, pretty much the whole world is talking about CBD. It is, to say the least, a very popular topic in the health industry, but also among “regular people”. As it became legal (in many countries) just recently not much scientifical research has been made on the subject.
Never the less, there are numerous testimonials of people who claim it to be a miracle, helping them in numerous ways.
P.S.
Important to mention here is that all of the above points also have scientific tests being made that backs up these claims. However, much more study is needed in order to really confirm all this to be facts.
Other health benefits being claimed is that it is also good for the: Brain, heart, eyes, stomach, bones and joints, skin, etc.
Ok, so let´s first clarify what CBD actually is, it is ONE of 104 chemical compounds known as cannabinoids that can be found in the marijuana (cannabis) Sativa plant.
As you might already know, THC is the main psychoactive cannabinoid found in marijuana, and the one people looking to get high are after, so to speak. It is the ingredients in the plant that make you feel “the high” feeling.
Here is the thing, CBD is NOT psychoactive, unlike THC.
So, therefore, CBD has become an attractive option for people looking for relief from pain and other symptoms, without “the high” that comes with marijuana or industry pharmaceutical drugs.
So, to be able to get only the CBD, the oil is extracted from the marijuana plant, then mixed with a carrier oil like hemp seed oil or coconut oil.
Here is an important thing to keep in mind:
Some CBD oils will contain traces of THC, and others will not. However, in order to get rid of all traces, you might want to know that it will take more processing, and you also might want to know exactly what those processes involve, and if it includes adding chemicals…
P.S.
It has been scientifical studies made on what really will bring you greatest effect, if it is as high CBD volume as possible (without any traces of THC) or if a full-spectrum choice (that contains a small amount of up to 0,3% CBD) is more beneficial.
The answer is that if you want the absolute greatest effect you should also include THC and other cannabinoids that the plant naturally contains.
** You can read more about that on this review (my #1 recommended CBD seller)
So, is CBD oil a scam? No, of course not. It is a real thing, and marijuana as medicine is not something new, and in my opinion, it should actually be what is called “traditional” medicine as it has been used for thousands of years in many different cultures.
However, the CBD scams are EVERYWHERE, in the form of false advertising, so you need to be very careful from where you purchase it, as in many cases you won´t get what you are looking for.
Just like in any new thriving market, “the scammers” will always flock, like in the bitcoin industry for example. They flock to it as there is a lot of money to be made. The market is a billion dollar market, and the scammers want to get a slice of the pie.
The hype is also “REAL” and there are CBD-infused bubble gums for sale in every street corner it seems, however, you might want to question if those flashy bubble gums actually contain any CBD at all…
There have been research made on how honest CBD products out there really is, for example, one study was made where 84 different CBD products were purchased online and also tested to see what they really contained.
More than 40% of the products had less CBD that was stated and 26% actually had more CBD than was stated.
So it is pretty safe to say that there is A LOT of CBD scams going on out there.
It shouldn´t come as a surprise really, due to the facts that it always happens in a new thriving market (as mentioned earlier above).
Your best option is to buy your CBD products from “legal dealers” that also provide you with lab tests that show how much of everything their products really contains. However, do not settle for the company’s “own lab tests” only but be sure that they are being tested by third-party labs as well.
A legit CBD company will always test their products even if there is no government regulation that requires them to do it, so a good rule of thumb is that the company you plan to purchase from should also be able to show you their lab results if you ask for it.
I hope you found this short article on if CBD oil is a scam or not to be helpful. Now you should have a better understanding of the subject and also know how to avoid falling victim out there and what to look out for.
