With only some hours left of the new year I decided to write a short post about new years resolution quotes on an online business community that I am a part of. Then I thought, why not make one here also covering almost the same thing.
What I did there is that I asked a question to the “make money online” Community WA (over 800,000 members) and asked them for their favourite new years quotes because personally I don´t know of that many.
The only one that came up in my head is the one that (according to Forbes Magazine) only 8% of people who set a goal for the new year achieves their goals.
92% fail with whatever goal they had set for themselfs.
One thing that 100% of the 92% people all had in common is that they plain and simple GAVE UP…
That is my favourite one and also one that I Think says it all…
Ok, that might not be a quote but it sure is something to keep in mind if you are going to set a goal for yourself on the new year… Or any other time as well of course.
I might as well ask you the same question also, do you have any favourite quotes that are about the New Years resolutions? Please share your favourite ones in the comment section or share some other thing you want to highlght about this subject.
I Hate New Years Resolutions!
I actually hate new years resolutions.
Why? Well, in my opinion I cannot understand why you should wait to the last day of the year to decide to make your life better?
Personally, I set goals throughout the year whenever I decide to start with a new one, I hope that is the case with you also?
However, this year I did set a goal just for fun for the new year, I wanted to make a minimum of 300 sales for one of my particular websites that I have created through the online community I mentioned above.
…That by the way is an awesome community that I highly recommend for pretty much anyone (CHECK IT OUT HERE).
In the post I wrote that I didn´t achieve that goal and the only one to blame for that is myself. I have a good explenation though (NOT an exuce) and hat is that I changed focus halfway down the road.
What do I mean by that?
Well, I simply decided to create new goals, I did that in May and by that time I had made well over 200 sales so I have had a great start to say the least.. I simply decided that the “new years goal” wasn´t that important for me anymore.
I say this because my Point is that it is ok to change goals along the way, so if you do that don´t feel bad for doing so. Many times we find the path that we truly belong to while chasing something else.
With that beeing said. Happy new year to all of my readers and your families! Don´t forget to share your best new years resolution quotes below!
I wish you the best and a lot of success!

It’s always good to set goals. I have a habit since more than 4 years ago that every year during the last days of the year I set goal for the New Year.
This year my New Year’s resolution is to incorporate into my life the habits of the most successful entrepreneurs and see how it will affect my productivity. I have done a research to identify the habits of entrepreneurs and will try to adapt them into my life. I have planned to learn a new habit every month since according to research it takes 30 days to learn a new habit

I completely agree with you when you say that one should not wait until the last day of the year to set new goals. I personally used to do that and I realized that it was wrong. Now I motivate myself and set goals every single day as a way of challenging myself for what I want to accomplish and I believe everyone should do the same.
Great article John!
