What is Bondora Capital? – Overview

Bondora Capital is a peer-to-peer (P2P) lending platform for investing in European (non-bank) personal loans. It is one of the leading companies in the industry with around 35,000 clients. The company has been operating since 2009. The physical address of the company is A. H. Tammsaare tee 47, 11314 Tallinn, Estonia

Bondora got a pretty impressive record so far that they proudly display on their website, with an interest of 17 million (Euro) for its clients (see screenshot below):

How to invest

It is not complicated at all to getting started and investing on Bondora, it basically works in 4 simple steps:

P.S. After you have activated your Portfolio Manager it will automatically start to search for loans that fit your selected strategy. Starting bid size is €5 and that will double after every 200 investments. If you want you can also set a custom bid size instead, to override the auto-bid that is set by the portfolio manager.

How does it work?

The way Bondora works is that you invest in Bondora loans, which are a fixed-income investment that generates monthly cash flow from principal and interest payments. Bondora issues loans to persons in Finland, Estonia and Spain.

Who can invest?

A short answer to this is, anyone can invest. Well, as long as you are above 18 years old and living in the EU, Switzerland or Norway, and also businesses that are registered in the EU.

If you do not live or work inside EU you can invest through Bondora if you are an accredited investor.

How is the support?

One thing I always put a lot of weight on when it comes to the support system of a company is if they got a live chat function or not. Bondora got this and that is a big plus (at least in my book). They also got e-mail support and phone support, they got the whole support package in other words.

Is Bondora a Scam?

So, is Bondora a scam? No, it is not, it is a legit investment opportunity. It got real owners and a real physical address and have been in business for almost 10 years now. They also got a great reputation and have been featured in both Forbes Magazine and other industry-leading business and financial publications.

They also got great reviews and testimonials from its users, and below you can see what the well-known and trusted review and rating site Trustpilot have rated the company:

The pros and cons

It is always a good idea to compare a company’s positive sides against their negatives before you make a decision. Below I have pointed out some clear points on both sides of the spectrum to make this job easier for you:

The good

The bad

Final words and verdict

Verdict: Legit

Overall rating: (4 / 5)

Ok, I think that sums up the overall view of this company pretty good. It is absolutely a legit investment opportunity you got here. The rating 4 out of 5 stars is a good one, and rarely given on this website. This can of course change to an either higher or lower one in the future as we make sure to update our reviews as soon as any news comes up, on the particular company we have reviewed.

As always the decision is up to you to make,

Please just keep in mind that you should NEVER invest more money than you can afford to lose into ANYTHING. Stick to that rule of thumb and you will be just fine.
