I have always had a difficult time saving money, mostly because when I have a lot I tend to spend a lot to. The last couple of years I have learned how to save money fast and I also have learned that there is no “magic” trick to do it!
First of all: The best time to save money is when you make money! If you not making any money (or have money) it is really no way you could save money either. Most of us have all had times when we have more money and times when we don´t have that much. What period of your life do you think it would be the best one to put away some money for your savings? The period when we have money of course!
But you can also save as much as you can both of the periods to… by cutting the expenses.
What I do is that I write down all of my expences, everything! I suggest you try this and then “look it over” and you will probably see a lot of unnececary things that you put your money on. (Maybe you dont need the latest phone, tv or computer. Maybe you don´t even need a tv at all)!
Even if you buy “only” one cup of coffe on the way to work everyday it ends up in a “pretty big” cost in the end of the month. Make your coffe at home! And you will save a lot only by doing so.
Another example is that if you eat lunch or maybe “grab a snack” out on a regular basis it will also end up in a big expense. Instead make your own food and bring it with you to work or school.
Do not buy new clothes that you do not need! (and probably almost never will use) And please do not think that you will save money buying clothes that are on a disscount! You are really just spending it on something unnecesary that you probably don´t even need (or like).
For real, the fastest and best way to save money is really simple. Do not buy things that you don´t need. So in other words: The best and fastest way to save money (or have more of it) is really just to cut the expenses.
But remember you have to make money first of all to be able to save!
If you don´t have a job this will be very hard of course because if you do not have any money you cannot save money. That really should be easy to understand if you think about it :o)
